Why This Little Known Maine Eatery Was Named a ‘Bucket List Fast Food Destination’

Over the last few decades, Maine has really become a 'foodie' state.

Despite having a population of only 1.3 million and no major cities, we have some incredible restaurants.  One of the great things about the food culture in Maine is that we have such an amazing variety of restaurant types.  We have everything from seafood restaurants (well, we are talking about Maine), to Mexican restaurants, to BBQ places.

In addition to the great brick-and-mortar restaurants, we also have a great number of impressive food trucks.

Many of our state's best restaurants and food trucks have been featured on national lists highlighting the best places to eat in America.

For example, one under-the-radar taco truck in Brunswick just made a list of fast food restaurants that need to be on your bucket list.

According to LoveFood & MSN you need to eat at Taco the Town in Brunswick at least once.

Founder Tai takes inspiration from family recipes and the Mexican food of his childhood in Northern California to create tacos and burritos that always impress. Come early for the breakfast tortas (fried egg, cheese and chorizo inside a fresh bolillo roll), or stop for lunch and feast on Al Pastor tacos filled with tender pineapple-marinated pork.
