Arby’s In Bangor Is Closing
The Arby's Restaurant in Bangor is closing on Friday, July 31st. The owner, Robert Smith, is retiring at the age of 77. Smith opened the Arby's in Bangor in 1983, and it's one of six Arby's in Maine. The other locations are in Augusta, Auburn, Presque Isle, South Portland and Topsham. Those locations are staying open as they are all owned by other franchisees.

Where Have All the Tim Horton’s Gone?
I read in the newspaper yesterday that the Tim Horton's in Lewiston just up and closed. No one knew it was coming. THEN, I heard the store in Skowhegan closed as well. One in Portland that also housed a Cold Stone Creamery closed in November. NOW, I hear the one in Augusta on Bangor Street closed yesterday!! What's going on? I haven't heard about any of this!
