Randy was on vacation this morning but he made sure to tell me to let him know who was going to be on this season of Dancing With the Stars!
We LOVE this show!
Here's the lineup:
That's right it's been scientifically* proven that looking at these GIFs will instantly make you happy. Sometimes all you need to feel better is a baby penguin in a hat or a wink from Gene Wilder -- that is a scientific* fact. We thought we'd put a whole bunch together to brighten your day. Science* ... we love it!
Wedding season is upon us -- are you prepared?!! Sure, you have an outfit, but what are you going to do when the DJ starts playing 'Celebrate' by Kool and the Gang? Huh?! Do you even know?!
This video should be just the thing to lift your spirits if you really wish you weren't back at work already. It's a supercut. Not just any supercut -- a supercut of 77 awesome (and not so awesome) dance scenes from movies set to 'Safety Dance.' It's pretty great.
"Twerking" is the latest dance craze. And by that we mean Miley Cyrus is quite fond of posting videos of herself doing it.
But the administration at Scripps Ranch High School in San Diego are not fond of Twerking. In fact they just suspended 33 students for their own video of the dance, which they claim involves a female "shaking their hips and bottom in a bouncy up and down motion
I had to watch. It just seemed too good to be true. Could they actually do it?
I was fascinated!
I had to keep staring at one girl to find out what moves they were doing. The dance instructor who came up with this idea was EXTREMELY inventive...
I was at KVCC for a class recently and was talking with a classmate. I discovered she had been a ballet dancer in Boston at one point. (Totally explains her graceful movements) But, she had also danced the flamenco! Then she tried to teach me some very basic moves. That is where it all went wrong, very wrong.
We don't know this kid's name, so we're just going to call him ORIGINAL B-BOY. This video, which the Library of Congress has politely decided to share with the world, was made in 1898, and shows a little street urchin performing acrobatics and maybe breaking just a little bit.
ABC has declined to comment and there has not been an official announcement, but it looks like Maksim Chmerkovskiy will not be on Dancing with the Stars this season.
Yup, it's still happening. People are still making 'Harlem Shake' videos. At least they seem to be increasing in star power. Last week it was Kyle MacLachlan. This version features Elisha Cuthbert AND Damon Wayans Jr., who is carrying the "Sinbrad" puppet from the show...
When it comes to gettin' down on the dance floor, there are a few moves that have stood the test of time. Maybe you like a classic jig, or perhaps the percolator is more your style. But there is, however, one dance that gets people of all ages boogieing: the Moonwalk.
Unless you've been living off the grid for the past couple of weeks, you're well aware that the Harlem Shake is officially the new 'Gangnam Style' or 'Call Me Maybe' of 2013. And with a lengthy, lengthy list of Shakes filling up the YouTube spots, the craze has finally made it's way home. Not necessarily to Harlem, but Times Square is close enough.
We thought it was dead. Apparently we were wrong. Jon Stewart and the rest of the staff at 'The Daily Show' have made their contribution to Harlem Shake mania. At least they've put a bit of an original spin on the trend. Plus you get to watch Jon Stewart dance.
Are you ready for another Harlem Shake video? We hope so because the world is going bananas for these videos and they appear to keep on coming. And while they've all held some sort of fun factor, this one might be our favorite.
