I was watching a game show the other day, ‘Family Feud’ I think, and I had to laugh and groan at the same time because of the answers. Dumb answers that made no sense with the question asked.
Longtime 'Jeopardy' host Alex Trebek has a way with words ... or, at least, as Conan O'Brien imagines it, he has a way with saying his words. Trebek's consistent cadence makes it incredibly easy for Conan to splice together the game-show host's clues into a parody video of absolute gibberish, accompanied by a pack of slack-jawed contestants. Funny, right?
My family is like clockwork on the couch at 7pm. We all watch 'Wheel of Fortune' together. I'm actually signed up as a 'Wheel Watcher'! Then we get ready for some 'Jeopardy'!
Anywho...the returning champion, Artrhur, made a crazy wager. Even Alex Trebek laughed!
Kathy Nitschke, a retired Maine Forest Service forester who currently works as a customer service representative for L.L.Bean, had a dream come true Wednesday evening, when she appeared as a contestant on the television quiz show 'Jeopardy!'.
If you don't watch 'Jeopardy!,' then you don't know that Alex Trebek can be a just a *touch* condescending to the contestants. Although to be fair, it's hard not to come across as condescending when you're basically telling people they're wrong over and over again for half an hour.
