V-J Day, Japan Surrenders to the U.S. 70 Years Ago
Today, August 14th is V-J Day. The day Japan surrendered to the United States and officially ended WWII. It is called "Victory In Japan Day or "Victory Over Japan Day". There are three dates that relate to V-J Day, confusing but here what happened.

This Sunday is the 73rd anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, December 7th, 1941. This is the day President Franklin Roosevelt said would be the day that 'lived in infamy'. It's the date that threw the United States into the World War.
