Joe Cupo is retiring from WCSH on April 22nd, after 37 years as the weatherman.

Joe Cupo has been a fixture in Maine television news since 1979. The weatherman has been giving Mainers the forecast for 37 years with the Portland television station WCSH Channel 6. Joe Cupo is leaving WCSH, his last day will be April 22.
Randy McCoy and Kelsey Fabian from WCSH Channel 6 were featured on TV on Feb. 25. Kelsey recorded her day on the Morning Buzz as a segment called 'Kelsey Lends A Hand'.
Portland's WCSH channel 6 and DIRECTV are negotiating a new agreement for the rights to carry the station on DIRECTV. If no deal is reached by the end of today, DIRECTV subscribers might not have access to WCSH starting at 12 a.m. on December 4, 2015.
DISH Subscribers have probably noticed that WCSH-TV, Channel 6, has been taken off of DISH. That means DISH subscribers could miss Sunday Night Football, The Voice and all of the NBC programming.
Kevin Mannix joined WCSH-TV in Portland in 1989 and was a longtime fixture as the weather forecaster during the morning news. Mannix left the morning news this past October and was doing weather during the noon news.
Meteorologist Keith Carson is leaving WCSH channel 6 in Portland. He'll be joining the staff at the Weather Channel. Keith's last day on WCSH will be on Monday, July 29. He will start on The Weather Channel in August.
