Veteran news anchor and reporter Norm Karkos is no longer working at WMTW. Karkos spent 25 years of his career with Channel 8. Officials at WMTW have confirmed that Karkos is no longer working working at the station but they are not authorized to discuss the issue at this point.
Meteorologist Matt Zidle is leaving WMTW, channel 8, after eleven years with the television station. Matt joined WMTW in December 2004. Matt is a native of Lewiston and has also worked at of Portland television stations as well at WLTX in Columbia, South Carolina.
