In the years leading up to the start of the pandemic, the Augusta area saw a massive amount of revitalization. This was especially true on Water Street. It seemed like every few weeks, we were hearing about a new business opening. Everything from breweries, to fine dine restaurants, to public relations firms, and more.

Yes, the process did stumble (it may have even taken a few steps back) during the pandemic, but local business people did continue to push forward.

As residents of the Central Maine community, we are really excited to see this process. And, we want to help with it as much as possible. For that reason, we have put together a list of available storefronts and restaurant spaces we'd love to see filled.
