The Chicks Coming To Bangor This Summer

After everyone took 2020 off from touring, and many major artists took 2021 off from touring, it was not a big surprise that 2022 was going to be a huge year for country tours.  But, it is now looking like 2023 could be just as big a year for tours.  Maybe even bigger than 2022 was!

It really feels like we are getting another tour announcement every few days.  Yesterday, for example, we learned that Jason Aldean was going to be hitting the road.  Other tours recently announced include Chris Stapleton, Brantley Gilbert / Nickelback, Cole Swindell / Lee Brice, and Hank Williams Jr.

Today, we are happy to announce another major concert!

The Chicks will be taking the stage at the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor on Sunday, August 13th, 2023.

Tickets for the show go on sale on Thursday, February 16th, 2023 at 10 AM.

The Chicks had a string of country and cross-over hits in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Without a doubt, one of the songs that really caused them to shoot to fame was the early 2000 song "Goodbye Earl".  The video for the song, which was about an abused woman getting revenge on her husband, featured a bunch of well known actors and actresses from that time.  Dennis Franz (from NYPD Blue), Lauren Holly (Picket Fences, Dumb & Dumber), and Jane Krakowsky (30 Rock).
