Secrets Found In Jesus' Butt

While perusing The HuffPost today (I like to stay informed and, like my mother before me, add "the" when not applicable) I came across this gem. Apparently an 18th century chaplain in Spain had a sense of humor. When a statue of Jesus was removed from a northern Spain cathedral for restoration the workers discovered that there was a secret message in Jesus' posterior. Removing a flap of cloth revealed secret hole inside Jesus' butt and inside this hole was a handwritten note from 1777. A time capsule, if you will, written by Joaquín Mínguez, a chaplain of the Cathedral of Burgo de Osma, describing what life in that region was like 240 years ago.

These are the types of finds on would expect on an archaeological dig ...in the ground...in dirt...in caves...or other orifices in THE EARTH but not in a butt.
