As of 4am this morning...the manhunt for the suspect in killing of Somerset sheriff’s corporal is still on. Centralmaine.com reports 29  year old John Williams of Madison, who police said shot and killed 62-year-old Cpl. Eugene Cole, is focus of the search. Flags are at half staff to honor Cole.  (more from WGME)

The search resumes today for a 5-year-old that fell into the Androscoggin River Tuesday night. The Sun Journal reports  will involve dive teams and, weather permitting, aircraft. His 9 year old brother who also fell in the water is still in critical condition.

Maine lawmakers will be back in  Augusta to deal with vetoes and unfinished business. They need to come back to wrap up work on school funding, tax conformity, marijuana sales and other key issues. They will also be dealing with Gov. Paul LePage's vetoes according to US News.
