If you cell phone when off with a test of the alert system, you are not alone. According to WABI , US Cell was testing its system. All cell systems will be doing the tests to make sure the upgrades work they way they should.

A couple of residents from Appleton and Union reportedly found a KKK flyer in her driveway. According to the Bangor Daily News  the sheriff's department says no crime was committed.

Gas prices haven't moved much in northern New England over the last week. GasBuddy shows that the average retail price went up 1.1 cents per gallon in Maine, averaging $2.28.

The federal government is providing more than $4 million to assist two Maine sewer and sanitation districts in making improvements. The Vassalboro Sanitary District will receive more than $3.8 million and the Boothbay Harbor Sewer District will receive $600,000. U.S. Sens. Susan Collins and Angus King say the money is critical for ensuring safe water infrastructure in the two communities.

The lone American off the planet has cast his vote from space. NASA says that astronaut Shane Kimbrough filed his ballot in Tuesday's presidential election from the International Space Station sometime over the past few days. He arrived at the orbiting lab in mid-October. By the time he's back on Earth in February, America will have a new commander in chief.

Investigators say they've found a third body on the property of a South Carolina man who is now linked to seven deaths. He's also accused of kidnapping a woman who was found alive and chained inside a storage container. One of the bodies is the woman's boyfriend. The other two bodies, found Sunday and Monday haven't been identified.

Washington State University is banning all sorority and fraternity events for the rest of the semester. School officials cite a rise in alcohol and drug use as well as hospitalizations, falls, assaults and rapes. The ban goes into effect as of 5 p.m. Monday.

A woman is under arrest in New York for allegedly pushing another woman onto the tracks at the Times Square train station. The woman was crushed to death by a subway train. Authorities say the women appeared to been having some kind of discussion or argument Monday afternoon. Then one woman pushed the other. Thirty-year-old Melanie Liverpool of Queens was arrested on a murder charge. Authorities describe her as emotionally disturbed.

The Supreme Court in the Philippines has ruled that former dictator Ferdinand Marcos can be buried at a heroes' cemetery where ex-presidents, soldiers and national artists have been laid to rest. The court voted 9-5 with one abstention Tuesday to dismiss petitions opposing President Rodrigo Duterte's approval of Marcos's burial at the cemetery. Burying a dictator accused of massive rights violations and corruption at the heroes' cemetery has long been an emotional and divisive issue in the Philippines.
