Tropical Storm Hermine (hur-MEEN') has formed in the Gulf of Mexico and is expected to pick up speed and approach the northwest Florida coast Thursday night. Meanwhile, forecasters with the National Weather Service say Tropical Storm Madeline will continue to weaken over the coming days. It was once a powerful hurricane, but weakened to a tropical storm as it got closer to Hawaii's Big Island. Officials still warned of heavy rain and strong winds.
