Elvis was born in Tupelo, Mississippi on January 8, 1935 and died on August 16, 1977.
Elvis was scheduled to have a concert at the Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland on August 17, 1977.

Even though Elvis was known as the 'King of Rock n Roll', he had many country hits like 'Heartbreak Hotel', 'Kentucky Rain', 'Help Me Make It Through The Night' and many more.
