Two From Augusta Arrested On Heroin Charges
Two people from Augusta are facing multiple drug charges after an investigation regarding heroin trafficking at an Old Belgrade Road residence.
According to a report from the Bangor Daily News, Joshua Arbour, 35, and Kimberly Hopkins, 30, were charged on March 9 with heroin trafficking, possession of heroin, possession of crack cocaine and endangering the welfare of a child. The BDN report also said Arbour was also charged with a bail violation stemming from an earlier drug trafficking charge.
The report said the arrests came after Kennebec County Sherrif's deputies executed a search warrant at the home and recovered heroin, crack and over $3,000 in cash. Arbour and Hopkins were taken to the Kennebec County Jail.
