Univ. Of Memphis Offers Children Of Fallen Soldiers Free Tuition
The University of Memphis is making tuition FREE for spouses and children of fallen armed service members. The school will be the first in the country to accept the Folds of Honor scholarship. This scholarship offers $5,000 to students whose parents were killed or severely wounded.
President David Rudd said "They're attending a school that acknowledges the sacrifices a family has made to protect their freedoms." Rudd, a veteran himself says the University is passionate about helping military families.
