According to WMTW, for the first time in United States' history, a President has been impeached for a second time.

President Donald Trump has been impeached for a second time in a House vote Wednesday.  Officially, the charge is “incitement of insurrection”.

The vote comes a week after pro-Trump rioters forced their way into the US Capitol building.

During the 2019 impeachment vote, no Republicans in the House voted in favor of the impeachment.  It was different this time.  Earlier today, 10 GOP members broke with the party to join Democrats - voting in favor of impeachment.

The vote comes a week before the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris.
