Maine's most famous SeaDog has a shot at dancing with the stars on ABC!

Portland ABC affiliate News8 WMTW is encouraging everyone to vote for Slugger, so he can get on national TV!

If you've ever been to a Portland SeaDogs game, you know that Slugger is a dancing fiend. He leads the YMCA from atop the visiting team's dugout, and is known far and wide for his outrageous moves.

Maine-native John O'Hurley, who appeared on season 1 of "Dancing with the Stars," thinks that Slugger would be a perfect fit for the show. He told News8 WMTW, "Nobody is a bigger fan of the Sea Dogs than I am, and nobody is a bigger fan of ballroom dancing that I am."
