If you ever had the dream of working for the Boston Red Sox, you may be in luck!

The team listed a job posting for another person to don the Wally The Green Monster costume as a back-up.  The job is a part-time position and would serve as an alternate to the Director of Mascot Programs for the Sox.  There are a few catches though for one to be able to actually become a Red Sox official mascot.

According to the job post, an applicant must not be taller than 5’8”, must be able to perform under extreme temperatures, have a flexible schedule, and have two to four years of experience as a college or pro mascot.

The last one may be a bit troublesome for those who would love to be the mascot at Fenway Park and have yet to try out the mascot life, but at least the dream is still alive for some!
