Waterville Man Surrenders to Police After Stand Off

One man was arrested in Waterville this morning (Aug 1) after police surrounded a house on Spruce Street. According to the Sentinel, he was armed and had assaulted a household member.

After he was in custody, police said the man had been holding a BB pistol. Reports are he was having an argument with other household members this morning that quickly escalated. The incident was over before 11am.
