North Dakota has the distinction of being the state with more bars per capita than any other state in the country. If you want a drink in North Dakota, more the likely, there’s a bar right around the corner. For every 1,620 people, there’s a bar. According to a chart created by INFORM, the land near Canada barely beat out Minnesota who has 1,658 people.

Northern states seem to rule the roost in this publication as Wisconsin, South Dakota and Nebraska are in the top 5. Maine comes in 40th on the list with 13,553 people per capita which are close to the bottom.

At the bottom is Georgia at 47, Mississippi at 48, New Hampshire at 49 and Virginia and 50. You can see the whole list here:
