Google recently did a new project looking at the most misspelled word per state. They found most states including Maine have struggled with words that are 6 to 10 letters long.

The one word misspelled that most in Maine is ‘pneumonia.’ Alabama, Michigan and Washington join Maine in misspelling that word.

People in Arizona and Colorado can’t spell ‘tomorrow’ while Delaware and Indiana have trouble spelling ‘Hallelujah.’

California, New York, Kentucky, Minnesota and Ohio have trouble spelling the word ‘beautiful.’ In Wisconsin they don’t know how to spell their own states name.

While most states had trouble spelling words that are 6 to 10 letters long, according to observer.com, six states struggle with 1 to 5 letter words. Oregon (sense), Idaho (quote), Mississippi (nanny), Georgia (gray), Tennessee (chaos) and North Carolina (angel).
