When it comes to adult beverages, nostalgia is king.

Over the last few years, we have seen the release of alcoholic versions of some of our favorite childhood drinks.  Sunny D, Yoo-Hoo, and those Downeast ciders that taste like Slush Puppies, for example.

These beverages take us back to a time when our lives were much simpler.  When instead of being stuck at work all day, we rode our bikes and ran through the sprinkler.  Given how stressful it is to be an adult, we all need the chance to revisit our childhood, even if it is just for a few minutes.

It looks like there is another beverage to add to the list of adult drinks.

According to the team at Damon's Beverage, Hard Mountain Dew is now available in Central Maine.

The Hard Mountain Dew website explains that the beverages have the flavor of Mountain Dew with a 5% alcohol kick.

Available flavors include regular Mountain Dew, watermelon-flavored Mountain Dew, the orange-flavored Mountain Dew Livewire, and Baja Blast.

You can currently get these at Damon's Beverage in Augusta, Waterville, and Skowhegan.  There may be other stores in Central Maine that have Hard Mountain Dew, but we've confirmed that they are available at Damon's locations.
