Widespread Maine Internet Outage
If you are without home internet service, you are not alone.
According to Down Detector, there appears to be a significant internet outage across New England. Based on the comments that have been left on our Facebook page, it looks like only Spectrum customers are affected.
On the Down Detector message board, outages have been reported in Bangor, Winslow, Oakland, Benton, Farmington, Saco, Biddeford, Vassalboro, Clinton, Gorham, Mars Hill, Portland, and Windham.
A tweet from the company said:
We are aware of an issue affecting services at this time for Spectrum customers in Maine. We're working diligently to restore your service as quickly as possible & apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you for your patience.
Some people are reporting that the estimated time for service to return is 10 PM tonight (April 5th).
