Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour is probably going to end up being the biggest tour of 2023.  One of the main reasons is the amount of time it has been since the country-pop crossover singer has been on the road.

She had originally planned to hit the road in 2020 for her Lover Fest tour.  Clearly, that did not happen.  And, because she wanted to do it right, she did not just rush back out on the road in 2021 or 2022.  She took her time to make sure the tour was spectacular.

Because of how big this tour is, it was no surprise that tickets for the tour sold like crazy!  They sold so fast that they were crashing websites left and right.

Last fall, one family in Massachusetts paid over $1,500 on StubHub for a 4 pack of tickets to give to their daughter as a Christmas present.  Sadly, the tickets never arrived in the purchaser's account, which left them scrambling for last minute replacements.

According to WCVB, Anthony Silva, of Somerville, was contacted by StubHub to say the tickets he had purchased would not be coming and there were no alternative tickets available.

But, Silva was determined to get tickets for his daughter and her friends.  In the end, he spent over $20,000 on tickets to the show!  And, to make the experience extra special, he even hired a limo for the event.

I think we can all agree that Anthony Silva deserves the Dad of The Year award!
