Blind Woman Climbs Katahdin With Bill Green – Journalist Wins Edward R. Murrow Award[VIDEO]

Congratulations to Bill Green and his crew.  The journalist, from Bill Green's Maine, along with his photographer, Kirk Cratty won the Edward R. Murrow Award for the story they did about Lynn Merrill.  Merrill, a Maine Native from Augusta, and is blind.  She has always wanted to climb Katahdin...but, life got in the way.

Final Participant Of Boston Marathon Crossed The Finish Line Tuesday Morning

Maickel Melamed, from Venezuela, was the last person to cross the finish line in the Boston Marathon that started yesterday.  After 20 hours and down pouring rain, Melamed finally crossed the line at 4:19am this morning.   The 39-year-old suffers from muscular dystrophy and was surrounded by supporters as he took the final steps to victory.
