Join me as the host of the Morning Buzz with Randy McCoy, weekday mornings from 5am to 9am. I also can be heard on Sundays from 10-noon. Make sure you come by to meet me at many of our live local broadcasts.
Betsy, from the Amy Buxton Pet Pantry, spoke to the Morning Buzz about the upcoming Amy Buxton Underdog Jog 5K. The event will be June 13th at Cony High School. The proceeds from the event with go to the charities that Amy Buxton supported. They are currently looking for participants and sponsors.
Wendy Somes, from the City of Augusta, was on the Morning Buzz today talking about the 4th of July parade and other events going on that day. Did you know that there is NO entry fee to be in the parade? You still have plenty of time to enter your family/organization/nonprofit/business into the parade and create an amazing float.
Jeremy Connor spoke fondly of his brother, Tim Connor, during the Morning Buzz. That's what older brothers do. Jeremy shared Tim's story and how he is currently going through his second battle with Lymphoma. This has placed a financial burden on Tim, as he needs to go out of state for a stem cell transplant in just a few weeks. To help with the costs, there is a fundraiser coming up.
Enjoy FREE live music on your lunch break with Market Square Melodies! What a great way to end the work week each Friday from 11am-1pm at Market Square Park in Augusta. Bring your own lunch or take advantage of lunchbox specials with the downtown restaurants.
This challenge is more of a little silly game vs. and actual challenge. The concept is simple. Sarah holds the word, not able to see it. Randy gives her clues and she has to guess what the word is. Each round is 1 minute long. It can be difficult to give good clues...and even harder to guess the word when your partner is really bad at giving clues.
Memorial Day weekend usually kicks off yard sale season. That's how I spent my 3 days off. Going from yard sale to lawn sale to garage sale. I always find great deals, and I did, but it never fails that I find myself irritated about some people and their etiquette when it comes to yard sales.
Monique Roy, the transitions coordinator from Adult and Community Education, was on the Morning Buzz today. We were talking about a class coming up in June that will help prepare people for college. Whether they are just graduating or it's been 30 years and they want to go back to school, this class will prepare you for all you need to know.
Seems just like yesterday when Facebook was infested with ALS Ice Bucket Challenges after challenge after challenge. Doing challenges seems to be a new craze for McCoy & Dyer as they recently attempted the Butt Cup Challenge (if that's even what it's called) the Egg Challenge and the Saltine Challenge.
Sarah & Renee love being Divas in their spare time and decided to have some fun with it, for someone very special. Miss Natalee, is the best big sister and deserves to be treated like an honorary lil diva! Thanks to I Do Spas For Little Stars, we were able to pamper Natalee and her friends true diva syle!
