Do you or do you know someone who struggles during the holiday months? The Salvation Army will be taking applications for the upcoming 2017 holiday season. There are several dates to choose from, but now is the time to sign up if assistance is needed. They assist families that qualify under the Federal Low Income Guidelines. We will be kicking off one of Central Maine's largest food drives next month. We will be in Randolph, Augusta, Waterville & Skowhegan collecting nonperishable food items. Whether you are donating 1 can or an entire case of food, here are some suggestions on what food pantries are looking for:
Tis' the season for the dreaded three letter word...the F-L-U!! The horror. It's already popping up in Maine...earlier than usual. People are posting, like crazy, all over Facebook. I wonder, can you cyber catch the flu? You watch...it'll be a thing one day.
