Best And Worst Store Return Policies
Now that the Christmas holiday is behind us it's time to think about great sales and returning the stuff that doesn't fit or isn't even fit to re-gift. According to consumerworld.org most retailers return policies haven't changed much from last year but a few have made some adjustments such as Bed, Bath & Beyond has dropped its no time limit return policy. Now it is one year with the exception of it's store brand which is 5 years. Also, Target shortened the holiday return period for most Apple products from 30 days to 15.
A few new return policies of note, Amazon is now paying for return shipping on items purchased by voice using Alexa, and Walmart has stated that customers can now start their return on the Walmart app by first scanning the receipt, and then completing the return in-store using the express lane.
