As news continues to circulate that Glen Campbell is in the very late stages of his Alzheimer's disease, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Toby Keith, and Dierks Bentley are set to perform a medley of hits from throughout Campbell's career on Tuesday, August 30th at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.

According to Rolling Stone/Country, the ACM Honors Show will be recorded and televised on Friday, September 9th, on CBS. It's the first time the ceremony, which presents the off-camera categories from the 51st ACM Awards, has aired on television. Lady Antebellum will host the evening, which features performances from Luke Bryan, Cam, Jason Aldean, Maren Morris and others.

Glen was last seen in the gut wrenching documentary, "I'll Be Me" which aired on CNN in 2014 and later on Netflix. The film followed Glen and his band on his goodbye tour. It was very hard to watch in places, but was very educational about how this horrible disease slowly takes over the mind.

This won't be the first time Glen has been honored by his peers. In 2011, Keith Urban joined Brad Paisley and Vince Gill at the CMA Awards, along with Campbell's longtime songwriting collaborator Jimmy Webb, for their own medley, including  "Wichita Lineman" "Galveston" and "By the Time I Get to Phoenix.

One of my favorite musical moments from that CMA show and of any CMA show. Here's the video from that memorable performance.
