In 2010, the elementary school that I went to closed down. In the fall of 2013 it was torn down. Sharon Hood sent me a link to a video tribute to the school. It was made by an old friend of mine, Nick Knowlton.

Pettingill Elementary School was built in 1926. It was a great place to go to school. It had an awesome playground, with see-saws, slides, swings. In fact, I would often go after school and on the weekends to play there!

I went there from 1970 to 1974 from kindergarten through 5th grade. I still remember all of my teachers. Ms. Miller, Ms. Dubuc, Mrs. Rupert, Ms. Vega, Mrs. Brann and Mr. Persiskis.

The school grounds have now been made into a park.

Thank you Sharon giving me the link to the video tribute and Nick, a job well done!
