Are you looking to cut your own Christmas tree this holiday? If so, we've put together a list of a few of the local tree farms, you may want to check out.
Don't be fooled! He may come across as a Grinch, however that is not the case today. Patriots head coach, Bill Belichick, is certainly in the Christmas spirit and he would like you to 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas'
I went to bed with a clean house. The Elf on the Shelf isn't visiting our house this year. So, to my surprise, when I came out of my room this morning to a MESS! My first reaction was to scream 'Who made this mess???'...but I didn't. It's 3am...everyone is sleeping. I quickly discovered the culprits. But after further investigating...there's no way it could have been them. Do I have a ghost
On a side street off of outer Sabattus Street in Lewiston is a modest home. People come and go all day long. This is the home of Barbara Violette and her husband Jason Hall and their two chihuahuas, Cappy and Baby. It's also the home of Timbo's Helping Hands.
I don't do the real Christmas tree thing for a lot of reasons. One of them is fear. I have a fear of fire. No so much loosing my stuff, but of someone getting hurt, or worse. Picture it...Bacon...delivered on your doorstep every month. Or cheesecake. Oh, perhaps chocolate. I remember when Fruit of the Month was THE gift to give for that 'hard to shop for' person.
It’s time for Santa and Mrs. Claus to make their way to downtown Waterville. The annual Parade of Lights at 6 p.m. kicks off the season the day after Thanksgiving (look for the SUBee in the parade).
Every year, I tell myself 'this will be the year I make Elf on the Shelf work' and promise to do something creative everyday. I'm usually pretty successful the first week...and then it gets away from me. I forget a day or two or a week and then the magic just goes away. I tell myself 'hey, I tried'...but I usually feel like I let the kids down.
Tis the season...Fa la la bla bla bla. There's no hiding from it! People are already putting up their Christmas decorations...even though we haven't even celebrated Thanksgiving yet! But, I'm feeling a little more festive than usual and want to start decorating too. But I want to change things up a bit...
