Lobster season in Maine starts this month (May). One of the favorites here are lobster rolls. There are some do’s and don’ts when it come to your lobster rolls. Do learn how to properly cook, crack, and clean a lobster.

Don’t serve your lobster roll at room temperature.

Do use a good potato roll. Don’t overload the Mayo.

Do add potato chips and a little bit of bacon. Sounds untraditional but done in moderation it is tasty.

Don’t add lettuce.

Do add a fork for lobster that falls on the plate.

Don’t add hot dogs to your lobster roll.

Do use big pieces of lobster meat. Using big pieces make a great tasting lobster roll.

Don’t over sauce.
