Elle King Will Perform in Central Maine This Summer

It is really starting to look like the summer 2024 concert season is going to be one for the books.

Over the last few months, it's been announced that Lainey Wilson, Jordan Davis, Mitchell Tenpenny, Parker McCollum, Whiskey Myers, Darius Rucker (with Hootie), Jo Dee Messina, and Kenny Chesney are all performing in Maine this summer.

We can add another amazing concert to that lineup.

It has been announced that Elle King will perform at the Snow Pond Center for the Arts in Sidney on Sunday, July 28.

Elle King was introduced to show business from birth.  She is the daughter of model London King and Saturday Night Live comedian Rob Schneider.  After her parents divorced, her mother remarried and moved the family to Ohio.

She first got interested in the music business when, at age nine, her stepfather gave her a record by the girl group The Donnas.  She was in love with music!  She started playing guitar and immersed herself in the music of Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Etta James, Al Green, Johnny Cash, and even AC/DC.

After graduating from high school, she attended the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.  After college, she started to dedicate herself to music on a more full-time basis.  She released her first EP in 2012.

Since that EP was released, she has had a series of hit songs, including "Ex's and Oh's" and "Drunk (and I Don't Wanna Go Home)".

Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 AM on Friday, April 12.
