Maine Gas Prices Down This Week

Maine gas prices dipped 1.4 cents per gallon this past week for a statewide average of $3.49 a gallon. That's according to the price-monitoring website GasBuddy.com.

Nationally gas prices fell 4.2 cents a gallon this week for an average of $3.39.

GasBuddy.com Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan expects gas prices to drop 10 to 20 cents a gallon nationally over the next couple of months.

The lowest gas prices in Maine were reported at gas stations in Waterboro and Clifton.
