Plenty of Things to Do in the Month of June Around Maine

There are a lot of fun events on the way in the month of June in Maine starting with the B98.5 ‘Bee a Country Star’ at T & B’s Outback Tavern in Waterville. It’s the ultimate karaoke contest (more info on our web site at b985.fm) the finals will be at the Whatever Family Festival at Capital Park in Augusta June 29^th. The Festival runs from June 19^th to July 4^th.

Other events coming up include the B98.5 Pet Expo at Fort Halifax Park in Winslow, Saturday, June 15^th from 10 a.m. to 4p.m. (more info at b9895.fm under the events page). June 15^th is also National Lobster Day, a day to celebrate all over the state and eat lobster. The Blistered Fingers Blue Grass Festival at the Litchfield Fairgrounds runs June 20^th to June 23^rd with a second one in August. June 22 in Damariscotta it’s the Pirate Rendezvous form 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. also on June 22^nd is the Maine Whoopie Pie Festival held in Dover-Foxcroft. June 25 and 26^th it’s Windjammer Days in Boothbay Harbor and in Kingsfield on Saturday, June 29^th, the Kingsfield Pops Festival of the Arts.
