Public Hearings In Augusta Today Concerning Maine Train Bills

A Maine legislative committee is holding a public hearing this afternoon (March 10)  at 1 on a few bills that are seeking to expand passenger train travel.

The Transportation Committee's public hearing will discuss one bill that would fund a plan for commuter rail service between Portland and Lewiston-Auburn. Another bill would provide communities with tools to fund local transportation, including rail.
