QB Tim Tebow Cut by New England Patriots

It seems the big question this pre-season for the New England Patriots has been whether or not QB Tim Tebow would make the final 53 man roster. We just got that answer.

The former Heisman Trophy winner has been released, that according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. The good news is they won’t place Rob Gronkowski on the physically unable to perform list.

The Patriots have tough decisions as the final cuts, to get to 53, have to be made by 6 p.m. (Aug 31) tonight. The season begins Sunday (Sept. 8) against the Buffalo Bills. You can hear all the action, all season, right through the Super Bowl, live on B98.5!
