Super Bowl 49 Scores Highest Ratings Ever
The new England Patriots win in Super Bowl 49 over the Seattle Seahawks brought in the highest television ratings in Super Bowl history. Compared to last year’s blowout when Seattle beat Denver, the rating for this year’s game was much higher.
Last year the rating came in at a 47.7, when the Ravens beat the 49ers in Super Bowl 47 the ratings were at 48.1. While closer games usually have higher ratings, and this year’s game went down to the final seconds, which helped keep the audience glued to their sets. The ratings for this Super Bowl came in at 49.7 making it highest in Super Bowl history beating out the Ravens-49ers game that held the previous record.
