After a seemingly endless winter, Mainers can look forward to a hotter and drier than average summer. The Farmers Almanac is calling for most of the country to be hotter than average and most of the east coast to have more rain than average, expect for New England, which is foretasted to have below average rainfall.

The Farmer's Almanac has been predicting weather since 1818 by using mathematical and astrological formulas.

They are also predicting a hurricane along the east coast in mid-September.

Are you hoping that the Farmer's Almanac is right?
