An exciting new and healthy spot has been added into the Lewiston community!

There has been a buzz circulating about the newest addition on 884 Lisbon Street and that is The Lunch Table!

They have officially opened their doors as of Friday, according to the Sun Journal. The community is hyped because this restaurant is unique and health-conscious!

The Lunch Table is female-owned and has taken over the former space of Hometown Soup & Salad, which closed its doors in February, as the article states.

Bronwyn Knight, is the new owner of The Lunch Table and she aims to give patrons a healthy lunch and fun experience. She's open from Tuesday to Sunday. She has been in the hospitality industry for 8 years, including being a sous-chef at The Green Ladle!

The article states she also has dived into management roles at Panera Bread, and positions at Fish Bones Grill and DaVinci's Eatery.

Now, let's get into the yummy part, the food! The menu at The Lunch Table will offer a variety of choices like soup, salad, sandwiches, paninis, and crepes. All of this will be available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“Our goal is to provide a healthy alternative to fast-food chains, by serving fresh food during an expanded lunch time frame, for those who get an early lunch and have a later lunch" -Bronwyn Knight- The Sun Journal

Ensuring the availability of fresh food is a top priority for her, as she strives to give you the choice of healthy, fresh meals instead of resorting to fast-food chains! Her food is all fresh and locally sourced!

Hours at The Lunch Table are Tuesday - Saturday from 10 AM - 3 PM.
