Tool Time With Buzz Bradley

This must be a new learning period for me. Over the past week I have learned things that have effected me profoundly. Just a few days ago I found out that Volkswagen, yes, the car company, is also a sausage company. That has been going on since 1973, how that passed me by all these years is beyond me.

Now, over this past weekend I had misplaced my cordless drill and needed to install some new curtain fixtures. So I decide I may as well buy another one until this one shows up. So I begin my research and low and behold, a cordless drill is not what I need, I should be buying an impact driver!

In the past few years, impact drivers have replaced the drill as the goto for well, putting in screws, tightening stuff etc, everything but actual drilling.  Who knew? Not me! but I'm glad I found out, and I'm also glad that if you are willing to drop a few benjamins you can usually get a combo deal, impact driver & cordless drill in a bundle deal.

So if the handy "person" in your life is still using a cordless drill to screw in things...look for one of these handy dandy impact drivers during Black Friday and be the hero.
