According to WMTW, we can expect rain for a part of the weekend.  And, in addition to some heavy rain, we could end up getting some snow accumulation.

While we'll see sporadic rain showers across Central Maine for the majority of Friday, the really heavy rain will move into our area late Friday night and early Saturday morning.  We can expect most of the rain between 4 AM and 7 AM.

The mountains could see 2 to 3 inches of rain, with 1 to 2 inches along the coast.

And, there's a chance that some of that precipitation in the mountains could fall in the form of snow.

While it is expected that the snow will accumulate, there's a good chance that it won't stick around long.  Temperatures are expected to rise again early next week.
