10 year Old Safe After Kidnapper Is Arrested In Portland, Maine
A 10 year old from Maryland is safe after their alleged abductor was arrested in Portland.
According to WMTW, on Sunday, police in Portland received word from the officials in Baltimore saying that they believed the child, who had been taken from Baltimore, was somewhere in the Portland area.
Police in Portland worked with law enforcement in Baltimore and the FBI in order to track down the alleged kidnapper. The child was found safe and a 17 year old Honduran national was arrested for taking the crime.
The child is back with their parents and the teenager is going to be extradited to Baltimore to face charges. He could be tried as an adult and there is a chance that he could even face human trafficking charges.
