Most of us have a certain level of curiosity.  That’s why we love exploring.  This is especially true when it comes to exploring places we probably should not go to.

Want proof?  All you need to do is a quick search of Facebook or Youtube.  You’ll find hundreds of groups and channels dedicated to exploring abandoned places across the country.

These urban explorers visit old factories, abandoned theaters, boarded-up houses, and even old hotels.

Recently, a Massachusetts-based Youtuber, who goes by the name J-Mass, took the time to explore an abandoned motel in Danvers, Massachusetts.  It appears that the motel, an old Econo Lodge, and the attached Denny’s restaurant, have been abandoned for quite some time.

Both of the main buildings had been gutted by the time that J-Mass rolled through.  All of the furniture was gone.  Workers had removed the carpeting, too.  Even the sheetrock walls that had once separated the motel rooms had been removed.

Even with nearly everything removed, he did find some interesting stuff In a few of the motel rooms and in the restaurant.  He also found where the motel’s swimming pool had once been, and a bunch of abandoned vehicles parked next to the restaurant.

WARNING: Under no circumstances should you enter this property. By doing so you risk bodily harm and/or prosecution for trespassing on private property.

A Look Inside an Abandoned Motel in Danvers, Massachusetts

Youtuber J-Mass recently explored an abandoned motel and restaurant in Danvers, MA. You can find the video these images were pulled from here.

This video provides a better look at what he saw while he was exploring the motel and restaurant.

For me, the most shocking part of the video was where he said he had never been to a Denny's restaurant.  How is that even possible?  Right?
