It appears the Augusta Quick Mart closed its doors for the last time on Friday, July 31st.

The Sunoco gas station and convenience store was located at 25 Western Avenue in Augusta.  According to several commercial real estate sites, the business had been for sale.  At this time, however, it looks as though it is off the market.  An extensive search of commercial real estate sites turned up no results.

The following sign was posted in the door of the business.

While there is no word on why the business closed, it is just the latest in a long line of businesses that have shut their doors since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.  Other closures include the iconic China Dinah, Jorseph's Fireside Steakhouse, a well-known GoKart track in southern Maine, and several Ruby Tuesdays locations.
