There is almost nothing more heartbreaking than when a beloved family pet goes missing.  And it doesn't really matter what type of pet it is, either.  Whether it barks, meows, slithers, or flies. we'll do almost anything to get that pet back.

Sadly, the Blais family, of Augusta, is going through this right now.  Their cinnamon pearl yellow cockatiel, June, has gone missing.

Not surprisingly, the kids are devastated.

They are asking for the public's help in locating June.  On the plus side, a tropical bird flying around Central Maine should stick out.  If you have seen her, you can call Chris at 207.530.6545.

According to Wikipedia, Cockatiels are actually a type of parrot that is originally from Australia.

9 Closed Maine Amusement & Water Parks

We have put together a list of now closed amusement parks and water parks. Some of these were in operation in the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s... Some haven't been around for over a century. ***Keep in mind that some of the information regarding when these places were open and what they offered comes from listener comments and stories passed down by people who visited (or worked at) these parks.
