Avengers Infinity War: What You Need To Know Part 1

We are officially 8 days away from something that has been built up for 10 years, the Avengers Infinity War. The Marvel Cinematic Universe features 18 films, 11 tv shows, and has amassed 14.8 billion dollars in the worldwide box office making it the most successful movie franchise of all time. Avengers Infinity War will essentially begin the end of everything we know. There is a 4th Avengers film in the works due out next year around this time but right now we're focusing on infinity war. Now this movie is already projected to break just about every box office record which means a lot of people are going to see it who might not know what's going on so i'm here to help you out so you're not confused.

It all started with the first MCU movie, Iron Man Tony Stark, a genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist, who builds a suit of armor capable of withstanding dangerous attacks while also dishing out amazing attacks. No one really expected it to take off like it did but it spawned a series of movies that really took superheroes to a new light. After Iron Man came the incredible Hulk, a monster who's strength is endless based on how angry he gets, this movie might be confusing for some to watch because the actor was replaced after the movie. After the Hulk, came Iron Man 2, Thor, the blonde guy with the hammer, then Captain America, the super soldier, and finally, The Avengers. The Avengers was where we saw them all meet for the first time, Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, and Hawkeye, 2 of the best fighters in the world, have to stop Thor's evil brother Loki from destroying earth. After the Avengers we caught a glimpse of Thanos, Infinity Wars main villain.

In what is known as Phase 2 of the Universe, We saw sequels of the fallout from the Avengers, giving us new movies about our favorites like, Iron Man 3, Thor: the Dark World, and Captain America The Winter Soldier, while also introducing us to new heroes, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Peter Quill, Gamora, daughter of thanos, and an expert in combat, Rocket, a genuis inventor with an alcohol problem, Drax, a warrior who doesnt get sarcasm, and Groot, a virtually indestructible tree. The final hero introduced in Phase 2 was, Ant Man a former crook who was given a second chance to be the hero. He has a suit that allows him to shrink to the size of an ant while giving him the strength of one as well. Finishing up phase 2 was the sequel to the Avengers, Avengers Age of Ultron, which saw Tony Stark developing a homicidal robot that wanted to take over the world which was the first sign of conflict between him and Captain America.

In Phase 3 we met new heroes, Doctor Strange, former brain surgeon who becomes the greatest sorcerer in the world, Spider Man a high school student capable of shooting webs from his wrists, advanced acrobatics and fighting abilities and great intelligence, and Black Panther, the king of a sovereign African nation known as Wakanda, gifted with the greatest scientific advancement in the world as well as advanced strength, endurance and fighting skills.

Now, the last main person in Infinity War that you need to know, is Thanos, the main villain. He is the giant purple guy. He is a member of an ancient alien race known as the Titans, they are incredibly strong, smart, and dangerous. He is after the infinity stones which if he collects them all, will allow him to control the universe.
