Blake Shelton to Star in a Western

Coming off of hosting Saturday Night Live, Blake Shelton is headed to the big screen. He’ll star in a western with Adam Sandler called ‘Ridiculous 6. It’s a spoof of westerns like the Magnificent 7.

Some SNL alum that will join Sandler are Dan Aykroyd, Jon Lovitz and Rob Schneider. The plot revolves around Sandler playing an orphan who was raised by a Native American tribe and one of six siblings who has 5 half-brothers and a biological Father played by Nick Nolte.

Shelton will play Wyatt Earp and Vanilla Ice will play Mark Twain. Production will begin in February and it will be the first of a series of movies Sandler is making exclusively for Netflix.
