Despite being a very rural state, Maine is lucky to have some of New England's best concert venues.

While we do have some great indoor venues, like the Cross Insurance Center and Cross Insurance Arena, our best concert venues are the outdoor venues.  Thompson's Point and the Maine Savings Amphitheater, for example.

The Bowl in the Pines Amphitheater is a true hidden gem.  Tucked away in Sidney, Maine, the amphitheater has been around for decades.

In recent years, however, the Snow Pond Center For The Arts has put a lot of money into upgrading the venue's infrastructure.  There have been upgrades to the concessions offerings, the grounds, and numerous behind the scenes upgrades (like the electrical system).

The of the best parts about the venue is that, due to its location on the shores of Messalonskee Lake, the area stays cool on even the hottest days.  It could be 95 degrees but you'd never know it because there is a cooling breeze blowing off the lake.

In 2026, the Bowl in the Pines Amphitheater will welcome nearly a dozen world-class musical acts.
