Cam on a West Coast Tour

Cam will close out the year with a tour out west called the Best Coast Tour. Starting November 28 in California she’ll have six stops there before heading to Washington, Oregon and British Columbia. According to theboot.com in addition to playing live, she has been busy working on her sophomore album, which is expected to be released in 2018.

The International Bluegrass Music Association announced their award winners on Thursday and Molly Tuttle made history by winning the Guitar Player of the Year. According to theboot.com Tuttle is the first women to win IBMA’s Guitar Player of the Year honor. She is also the first women to be nominated in awards 27 year history.

Canaan Smith will be on tour for the rest of the year. According to theboot.com Smith will set out this month for the Long Way From the Freeway Tour. The tour will make 21 stops through December. Smith’s last full album, Bronco, came out in 2015.
